It really is time for me to go to bed
I was just sure that Baby of Dreams would go to sleep soon after I got home from work. I even turned down an invitation to watch 27 Dresses with my brother and sister-in-law at their apartment, because I figured she would go to sleep right after I fed her. That was at 7:30 pm. It is now 10:12pm and I just put Baby of Dreams upstairs in her crib and she is still not asleep. Oh well, I guess I will see 27 Dresses some other time. Baby of Dreams is having a very difficult time going to sleep, so here I am cutting this short. Real quick though, if I know you and you leave a comment on one of my blogs, I will probobly add you to my People We Like list. Oh and one question, what does blog mean or stand for?

Stake Conference
I will preface this by saying that The Husband works nights and got home at 9:30 am this morning. Stake conference was at 10:00 am so I was glad that he made it in time. Attending church solo, with a new crawler is quite a chore. Unfortunately The Husband is getting sick and therefore opted to stay home and sleep it off, before going back to work tonight. So I strapped Baby of Dreams into the stroller and walked the 5 minutes to the church with her. I guess I should have known better than to sit where baby couldn't crawl around. We sat down next to girl who looked awfully familiar to me. It turns out that I used to work with her at the Nordic, up at BYU-I. We chatted for a bit before conference started and very soon after it became apparent to me that Baby of Dreams was not going to sit nicely on my lap for 2 hours. She didn't even last 10 minutes. We ended up in the overflow section in the Relief Society room, where many other parents with small children were. I sat by a couple in our ward that have a little boy a few months older than Baby of Dreams. The babies had a great time swapping toys and sharing each other's snacks, that is until Baby of Dreams spit up, which is normal, and then proceeded to wipe her icked up hands all over the little boy's hair, which is not normal. His mother smiled and very calmly wiped off her son's head. I am just now realizing that I am the mother of the wild child that leaves the spit up mess behind everywhere they go. I did clean everything else up, but good grief, how did things come to this? I blame The Husband for being a rambunctious youngster himself and passing the genes onto Baby of Dreams. I am sure that I never did anything even close to that when I was a baby ;)

It Begins
Well, I fianlly did it. I joined the world of bloggers. I have been keeping up with a lot of friends and their blogs and thinking how fun it was to get to know their families better. This has made me start realizing all the positives to blogging. First of all it is very much like a journal, which I am usually terrible at keeping up with. Second it is a good way to keep family and friends updated with our life. I have been quite successful at keeping up with Facebook, so I think I might be able to handle it. I might even get The Husband to add his two cents every once in a while. I am now going to go play with the settings and layout.
