Update (again)

It was so easy and to-the-point, doing my last update, I want to do another one.
This is what has happened since my last update:

-Sticky is definitely walking!
-Sticky is eating mostly table food, with a bit of baby vegis, fruit and cereal
-The house has been shown 4 times, with no offers
-We just dropped the price of our house by $4000 today :(
-We found a 3 bedroom apartment in Oregon and The Husband takes over occupancy in a bit over a week.
-The Wife is officially a stay-at-home mom, full time!
-The girls and The Wife have survived 10 1/2 days without The Husband and have 1 1/2 left to go.
-The Husband gave The Wife a haircut and The Wife likes it!
-Since The Husband was in Oregon for The Wife's birthday, The Wife and girls got to spend her birthday with the Bear Family and had an exhausting, but extremely wonderful time. (Thank you so much Bear Family!)
-Lulu is taking a break from the potty after way too many wet accidents that The Wife is not up to dealing with at this time. We will try it all over again, after we move. (Luckily, she still goes #2 in the potty, on her own.)
-The Husband is loving Oregon, enjoying his training and looking forward to starting the real thing in a little over a week.
-The Husband finished his 3rd class since he started his Bachelor's program. (I think I previously forgot to mention that The Husband started school full time, online, a few months ago to get his Bachelor's degree in Business Management.)

I believe that those are the highlights. We have also been working more on the house to make it more attractive for potential buyers, with great help from our wonderful family.

Suprise!

As if life wasn't crazy enough, the Husband called from training today and said that he would be training here for 4 weeks and then they were sending him to Oregon, to train at his new store, for 2 weeks and then bringing him back here for 1 week and then he will go back to Oregon permanently. Yikes! I have never been away from him for more than 5 days and that was before we had the girls. It should be interesting, but not in a fun way. I know I shouldn't complain. Lots of families have to be separated like that for much longer and on a much more frequent basis. I'll get through it, but I am curious how the girls are going to handle it. I also realized, after I talked to the Husband, that my birthday falls smack in the middle of the 2 weeks he is going to be in Oregon. That makes me sad. I have had a lot of cruddy birthdays in my life, but I have had the best birthdays since I was married, because of the Husband. He really goes out of his way to make me feel special. Oh, well, there is always next year.

On an exciting note, we finally got rid of our 4 door car and got my almost dream minivan. I know it sounds silly to have a minivan as a dream car, but it is so cool! My two favorite features are the Stow n' go seats and the side doors that open at the touch of a button. We really feel that Heavenly Father led us to a great deal on this car. The amount of stress that was lifted off of us was significant, as we were signing all the papers. We were really starting to worry about our little red car and all of the fixing it was starting to need. We are planning on keeping it at least for the next ten years, so we wanted to make sure it had everything that we needed and a lot of what we wanted. The Husband is even excited about it. He would prefer to have an SUV, but agrees that we got a great van and wants to take a road trip soon to test out all the cool features. It is a 2005, but with low miles and it looks practically brand new. We are feeling pretty happy about it. Now getting to Oregon should be a much more pleasant trip.

Update

I am a terrible blogger. There I said it. It is now out in the open and I no longer need to feel embarrassed about it.

(I have changed Baby of Dream's name to Lulu, to make things easier and more pertinent. Plus I have changed Gub Gub to Sticky, which I may change later, when I can come up with a name she might not hate me for later. We really never called her Gub Gub after she was born.)

Let's just do the highlights since my last post:

-Lulu turned 2

-The Husband was promoted 2 steps higher up and started working days

-The Wife started working between 5-8 hours a week

-We had semi-professional family pictures taken, see left side of blog (thanks to a wonderful friend)

-The holidays were fun

-Sticky grew

-Sticky started crawling

-Lulu was potty trained

-The Husband got another promotion to Assistant Manager. He starts training in 1 week. We are moving to Oregon at the end of July.

-We put our house on the market and are patiently waiting for it to be sold

-Sticky is very close to walking

-The wife is going quickly insane trying to make the house beautiful so someone wants to buy it

Well that was easy!

I should do it that way more often.

The most exciting part of things is that the Husband got the promotion to Assistant Manager that we have been hoping for since last summer. This time it has worked out so smoothly. He even had a choice of two different place to go. He feels that in Oregon he will have a greater opportunity to learn and grow in the company. Plus, we have been talking about somehow making it back to Oregon, since we got married. I am very excited to be going back to my home state. The biggest stress we are dealing with is trying to sell the house. We are trying to do all the little fixing projects we have been putting off since we bought it in the first place. It looks better, but is still not where we want it to be. I am just praying that someone will see the potential and fall in love with it like we did.

There, I feel better that I finally did something on here.
