Gub Gub is......
Well ,we went to the doctor yesterday to have our ultrasound, to figure out the sex of the baby. We were at 19 weeks so the ultrasound lady was not positive, but said that Gub Gub looked like a girl. She said that all the other things she checked were perfect, except Gub Gub is about 5 days smaller than she should be. Baby of Dreams was, and is, on the small side, so it could be that the Husband and I just make small babies. The doctor wants me to have another ultrasound when I come back in at week 23, so that he can start tracking Gub Gub's growth. If she continues growing at the proper curve, just under it, then we just have small babies and everything is okay. If she is not growing at the proper curve, then the doctor will figure out what to do from there. I am assuming they will double check the sex too. I am getting used to the idea that Gub Gub is a girl. As some of you know I had a gut feeling that Gub Gub was a boy. It took me most of the day yesterday to change my thinking. It will be easier having another girl, I think. We already have all the stuff. Our biggest problem now is we already have our first boy name completely picked out, so a boy would have been great, we thought we had a girls first name decided on, but are second guessing it and now looking at all of our options again. We aren't decided on a middle name either. Baby of Dreams was easy to name, but we just don't know about Gub Gub. I guess we still have about 5 months and I am thinking we will need it.

Yay! Congratulations! I have to admit I was expecting more fireworks and excitement. Come on people! You seem a little on the bummed out side. I am glad to hear that your have two girls close in age. That's what I want. Hopefully the smallness isn't a problem.
Congrats! Having two girls is so much fun, especially when they're close in age. Mine are 17 months apart and I'm so glad. It's not easy, but it's great. They're great friends! How far apart will yours be? I hope all goes well with her size. Don't worry about it too much.
That's what happened with my little boy! We were told at 20 weeks that it was "probably" a girl, but an ultrasound 2 weeks later showed that he was obviously a boy! I had a feeling he was a boy, and I was right. Let us know the results from the next ultrasound!
If we have another child it will be Chad's turn to name him or her. I sort of dread that. :)
congrats on the girl, we are having a boy! and to answer your question for me about my amazingly awesome giant pillow... you can only get it on-line. I know that babies R US has them but they are like $80 or so... I got mine off e-bay for $50... and I love it!
